Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Facilities Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for a Facilities Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for:

  • Establish and manage site and priority escalations to ensure an effective response.
  • Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
  • Ensure that all PPM and Reactive calls are completed within contract SLA's and KPI's.
  • Manage and develop a professional and effective operational team of 9 staff ensuring objectives are set, monitored and achieved and that all employees are appraised and have a personal development plan.
  • Lead by example with regards to health and safety, compliance with statutory and contractual legislative requirements.
  • Support the development of new works and opportunities, ensuring continuous growth.
  • Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time to all levels of management as required.
  • Manage all necessary induction, operational risk scenarios, and safety training requirements across the areas of responsibility.

To be successful for this Facilities Manager role you must have:

  • Extensive experience within Facilities Management or equivalent.
  • Relevant accreditations or qualifications to support daily operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A good understanding of Hard services including asset management.
  • A good understanding of soft services specifically, cleaning, landscaping, pest control and waste.
