Semi Skilled Production Operator in Wrexham

We are recruiting on behalf of our client on Wrexham Industrial estate for a Baler Machine Operator/ Semi-Skilled Production Operator. Your job as a Semi-Skilled Production Operator will be to operate a baler crushing scrap material (Cardboard/metal) and filling out paperwork for what has been bailed.

Main Duties for the Semi-Skilled Production Operator:

  • To operate the baler machine with the purpose of scrapping those pallets identified as scrap.
  • To carefully move packaging and re-stack as required by the packaging and production team.
  • To record pallet details for each pallet or part pallet scrapped for traceability.
  • To pass over scrap tickets to the QA office for processing each shift/daily.
  • To ensure waste from scrap pallets e.g. banding, contaminated packaging is processed correctly.

Some experience using a baling machine is desirable but not essential. Monday to Friday - Afternoon Shift Overtime Saturday and Sunday Hours 2pm to 10pm. Temp to Perm role for the right person. If you are interested in the Semi-Skilled Production Operator / Baler role please apply with your CV.
