Chartered engineers are preferable, but our client would consider candidates who are actively working towards Chartership (either IStructE or ICE).

This is a rare chance to step into a broad, technically varied role with real autonomy and client exposure. The successful candidate will work across a wide spectrum of projects - from structural surveys and building design to site investigations, drainage, seismic/blast analysis, Party Wall duties, and listed buildings - with values ranging up to £12 million.

With a hands-on approach and strong communication skills, the ideal candidate will be confident offering advice directly to clients, producing high-quality reports, and working to current BS EN codes. Design experience in steel, masonry, timber, and RC is expected, and all work is completed electronically.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape your own workload, influence the direction of projects, and grow with a supportive, forward-thinking practice.
