Trainee Paint Sprayer in Newent

This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Paint Sprayer to join a well-established UK contractor operating nationally across steel fabrication, construction and design and build projects. The role is suited to someone reliable, hands-on and keen to learn a skilled trade. Full training will be provided, with genuine progression opportunities into other areas of the business for those who show commitment and ability.

The predicted salary is between 1040 - 1200 £ per month.

Salary - £13ph to £15ph. Overtime rate at - 1x1/4 in the week, 1.5 on a Saturday and 2x on a Sunday.

£100 monthly attendance to work bonus. Discretionary Christmas bonus. Full training provided. Full-time Permanent Position. Location - Newent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with preparation and spraying of steel components
  • Surface preparation including cleaning, masking and priming
  • Supporting experienced paint sprayers on live projects
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
  • Learning paint systems, finishes and application techniques
