Level 2 Teaching Assistant - KS1 Focus

[Employer hidden] are currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a friendly and well-run primary school in M40. The school is looking for someone confident supporting KS1 pupils, particularly with early literacy and numeracy. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys building strong relationships with pupils and being part of a collaborative staff team.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning in a KS1 classroom, helping pupils stay engaged, confident, and on track with their learning. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher during lessons
  • Delivering phonics, reading, and maths interventions
  • Providing 1:1 support to pupils who need additional help
  • Supporting pupils' social and emotional development
  • Maintaining a safe, positive learning environment
