At [Employer hidden], we are recruiting on behalf of an established education provider for a dedicated Joinery Tutor/Teacher to join their team, supporting adult learners. This is a full time, permanent position working 37 hours per week, delivering high quality joinery education to learners in a secure setting. You will play a vital role in helping learners develop practical skills, confidence, and employability.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver engaging joinery training to adult learners
- Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned to qualification standards
- Support learners to achieve vocational qualifications
- Create positive and motivating learning environments
- Maintain accurate learner records and reports
- Embed health and safety, safeguarding, and quality standards
What we are looking for:
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards
- Level 1 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery
- Level 2 Diploma in Site Carpentry
- Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Ability to motivate and engage learners
- Strong organisation and communication skills
Salary and benefits:
- Salary £30,208 to £39,648 per annum
- 40 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
