Are you an experienced Security Systems Engineer looking for a role where your expertise is truly valued? We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our growing team, working with cutting-edge security technologies across a varied and rewarding customer base.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of electronic security systems, including Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems, ensuring they operate to the highest industry standards. If you have strong technical knowledge, a customer-first mindset, and experience working with IP-based security systems, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to reactive service calls.
  • Managing your own workload effectively to ensure jobs are prioritised and completed efficiently.
  • Diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and ensuring systems are fully compliant and operational.
  • Completing accurate work reports and providing clear recommendations to clients.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service while building strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience within the electronic security industry.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of IP-based networks and security systems.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to safely lift equipment and work at height using ladders.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as 18th Edition, NVQ, City & Guilds or BTEC (desirable but not essential).

Salary & Package:

  • £42k-45K dependent on experience.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Contributory company pension scheme.
  • Life assurance.
  • Company van provided.
  • 40-hour working week (8:00am – 5:00pm) plus call-out/standby opportunities.
