Facilities Maintenance/Site Services Engineer in Deeside (Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week) on a rota basis between the engineers (6am - 2pm, 8am - 4pm & 10am - 6pm). Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 DOE (Additional payments for on call 1 in 4 weeks).
Our client is looking for an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Facilities/Building Engineer to join the team to carry out PPM and reactive maintenance/inspections/repairs across site services. Responsibilities include:
- Implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- Regular inspections and servicing of equipment, systems, and structures to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnosing and resolving both electrical and mechanical problems, including repairing electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and other building infrastructure.
- System upgrades and improvements, including energy efficiency projects and modernization of equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining records and ensuring that all systems are up to standard.
- Generating reports.
- Being prepared for any potential emergencies such as system failures or safety hazards.
Skills & Experience:
- Electrical qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3, HNC, or City & Guilds.
- A trade apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years practical experience.
- A strong background in engineering, particularly in areas related to building systems such as electrical, mechanical, and building services.
- Knowledge of building automation systems and energy management is advantageous.
