Our client is an automotive 1st / 2nd tier supplier, a traditional well-established privately owned engineering company with sites across the Midlands. They are involved in the batch manufacture of components for several OEMs across several sectors and are currently in a period of sustained organic and acquisitive growth with substantial investment in new machinery and infrastructure.
They are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager who can take responsibility for toolmaking, maintenance and general engineering across the site. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for organising labour and machine time, and delivering business KPI’s that influence Safety, Quality, Environmental and Production Performance and the Cost of Manufacture – if you want to sit behind a desk all day this is not the position for you.
The required candidate must have proven experience of team management and preferably knowledge of diecasting, plastic moulding or similar – we are particularly interested in ambitious qualified candidates who want to progress into senior management.
