Morson Edge is looking for motivated individuals to join a leading UK commercial and industrial rooftop solar provider. This permanent role offers a Monday to Thursday working week with regular nationwide travel and overnight stays, typically four nights per week.

While previous solar or electrical experience is preferred, it’s not essential if you’re motivated to learn. The role provides full on-site training, structured support from experienced installers, and enrolment in the Elevate training programme. You’ll gain hands-on experience in roof preparation, materials handling, DC cable installation, and maintaining a safe, organised workspace.

Ideal candidates are located near Warrington or Manchester, with the flexibility to travel across the UK as required.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist senior installers with roof preparation, materials handling, and DC cable installation
  • Support solar installation activities under supervision
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
  • Handle tools, equipment, and materials safely
  • Follow site protocols, method statements, and health and safety procedures
  • Participate actively in training and on-site coaching

Who We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in solar, electrical, or construction work preferred but not essential
  • Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working at height and on construction sites
  • Basic hand tool knowledge or willingness to develop these skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Flexible to travel nationwide with regular overnight stays
  • Ideally based near Warrington or Manchester
