Special Needs School Teaching Assistant in Eccles
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a special school, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting children in a specialist education setting.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
- Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEND or in a special school setting (desirable)
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for making a difference in children's education
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
