Mechanical & Electrical Contracts Manager

Are you ready to bring your expertise in mechanical and electrical management to a dynamic and supportive environment? A leading company in the Facilities Management sector is hiring a Mechanical & Electrical Contracts Manager in Kent. This role offers the opportunity to influence the delivery of key projects while working within a highly skilled team.

The Role

- Manage term and project contractors in the delivery of M&E works, servicing and maintenance programmes, ensuring strategic and operational compliance. - Provide contract management from design to final account stage, ensuring contractors perform to deliver projects on time and within budget. - Develop mechanical and electrical design specifications and manage project documentation for capital and revenue projects. - Lead and motivate the Maintenance Minor Works Co-ordinator, participating actively in recruitment and performance assessment. - Deliver mechanical and electrical building services projects, implementing Health & Safety procedures and best practices on site.

You

- To be successful in the role of Mechanical & Electrical Contracts Manager, you’ll have the following skills and experience: - HND / HNC in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, etc). - Experience in managing mechanical and electrical projects in a commercial setting. - Demonstrated ability to oversee contractors on large sites. - Flexibility to travel across Kent as required.
