A highly regarded food manufacturing business in Cheshire is seeking a Technical Analyst (Systems) to join the site technical team. This role is responsible for managing technical systems, audits and processes, generating reports and supporting the Technical team in achieving departmental objectives. You will ensure adherence to food safety, quality, legality and authenticity standards, and drive continuous improvement through robust internal audits and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage site technical systems, including QualityTrack and other central initiatives
- Develop, maintain and drive internal audit schemes to ensure compliance with food safety, quality and legal standards
- Provide the site leadership team with accurate and actionable reports highlighting trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Support HACCP team, ensuring procedures are up to date and compliant
- Develop and maintain site technical policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate and industry standards
- Train, guide and support internal auditors and colleagues to maintain high standards of food safety, quality and legality
- Deputise for the Site Technical Manager as required
- Continuously challenge processes and systems to ensure compliance and operational excellence
About You:
- Proven experience in technical systems management within food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of FSQMS, HACCP, internal auditing and BRC standards
- Experience in developing and maintaining technical policies, procedures and audit schemes
- Ability to analyse data, provide reports and influence decision-making across the business
- Strong communication skills with experience working with senior managers and cross-functional teams
- Experience training and supporting colleagues in technical compliance
