How to prepare for a job interview at [Employer hidden]

✨Know Your Ducts

Make sure you brush up on your knowledge of ducting systems before the interview. Familiarise yourself with common issues, installation techniques, and the types of materials used. This will show that you're not just a skilled fitter but also someone who understands the bigger picture.

✨Bring Your Tools

Even though it’s an interview, bringing your tools can be a great way to demonstrate your readiness and professionalism. It shows that you take your work seriously and are prepared to get hands-on if needed. Plus, it gives you a chance to discuss your preferred tools and techniques.

✨Review the Drawings

Since the job involves working to drawings, take some time to review basic ducting plans and installation drawings. Being able to discuss how you interpret these drawings during the interview will highlight your technical skills and attention to detail.

✨Ask About Safety Protocols

Safety is key in any construction role. Prepare some questions about the safety protocols they have in place on site. This not only shows that you care about your own safety but also that you’re a responsible team player who values the well-being of others.
