HR Manager
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term/temporary contract. This role is pivotal in managing the full HR function within our school, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality support to staff and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
- Oversee payroll checking and processing in collaboration with the finance team.
- Lead and support HR projects aligned with school objectives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
- Report directly to the Bursar and Board of Governors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar HR role within the education sector.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
- Experience with MIS systems and HR software.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
There will be a handover period to ensure a smooth transition. This is an on-site role; remote working is not available.
