FULL DESCRIPTION

Maintenance Engineer in Brigg

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are working with an established ambient food manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an Engineer to join their site-based engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within food or FMCG manufacturing, with strong fault-finding capability across electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced production environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on a range of automated machinery
  • Support continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to improve reliability and performance
  • Ensure all engineering work is completed in line with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation using the site CMMS
  • Support installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment
  • Work closely with production teams to support site performance and uptime

On Offer:

  • £45,000 annual salary
  • 4 on 4 off (4 day shift, 4 night shift rotating)
  • Pension etc.
