KS1 Teacher in Bolton
Are you a passionate SEND Teacher who thrives on making a real difference? We are working with a specialist provision in Bolton seeking a dedicated teacher to support secondary-aged pupils working at a KS1 level.
The Role
- Teaching secondary-aged pupils accessing a KS1-style curriculum - Delivering engaging, personalised lessons that focus on communication, engagement and life skills - Working closely with LSAs, SENCOs and therapists to support individual EHCP targets - Creating a calm, structured and nurturing classroom environment - Supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, MLD and complex needs
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS/QTLS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification) - Has experience teaching in a SEND, SEMH or specialist provision - Confident differentiating for pupils working significantly below age-related expectations - Strong behaviour management with a trauma-informed, child-centred approach - Calm, resilient and genuinely passionate about SEND education
