Ks2 Teacher ASAP Start

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum, promoting curiosity and independent learning
  • Support pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing, and personal development
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, Teaching Assistants, and phase leaders to ensure consistent support for all pupils
  • Track pupil progress and use assessment to inform teaching and interventions
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ECTs are welcome to apply for this role)
  • Confident in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Positive, reflective, and committed to continuous professional growth
  • Understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and child-centred practice
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
