We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our service team supporting industrial laundry equipment across customer sites in Kent and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role offering strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and a healthy work–life balance. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, fault-finding, and repair of commercial and industrial laundry machinery, working independently while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair industrial laundry equipment at customer premises
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Install and commission new equipment where required
- Provide technical support and advice to customers
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Participate in a 1-in-4 weekend on-call rota
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
Skills & Experience
- Electrical bias essential, with solid mechanical knowledge
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar
- Backgrounds considered:
- Industrial or commercial laundry
- Commercial equipment
- Residential white goods / domestic appliances
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good customer-facing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
