The Role
As a Junior Electrical Assembler, you’ll be involved in the assembly and wiring of electrical control equipment in a structured workshop environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Wiring electrical panels and control cabinets to specification
- Building and terminating cable looms and harnesses
- Reading and working from electrical drawings, wiring schematics and layout diagrams
- Crimping, stripping, terminating and labelling cables to a high standard
- Supporting with basic electrical/mechanical assembly where needed
- Completing quality checks and ensuring builds meet internal standards
- Keeping a tidy, safe workspace and following workshop procedures

- Some practical experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or loom building (industry, college, or apprenticeship)
- Ability to follow wiring drawings/schematics with good attention to detail
- Confident using hand tools and basic electrical assembly equipment

- Experience with crimping standards, ferrules, and cable management
