Service Technician

We are looking for a passionate Service Technician to repair and service our vehicles to the highest standards possible. You will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business for the retailer.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receiving work from the workshop controller and carrying out related checks, administration, and protection routines
    • Assessing tool and equipment requirements and communicating any related issues
    • Servicing and repairing all vehicles
    • Reporting on all additional repair requirements as they are identified
    • Making written and verbal reports on service and repair work to the workshop controller to obtain authorisation
    • Completing all administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair work
    • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
    • Undertaking vehicle road tests when necessary
    • Assisting with the development and training of other technicians
    • Attending meetings and training programmes as required
    • Performing other duties in support of other team members as required

    About You

    • Level 3 vehicle technician qualification (VAG group background preferred)
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
    • Outstanding organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines
