Our client is a leading privately owned UK civil engineering contractor delivering projects from £500k to £60m across structures, highways, Section 278 works, groundworks and earthworks. Following the award of a long-term Structures Framework for Urgent & Minor Works, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Framework Manager to lead delivery across multiple concurrent schemes. This is an autonomous, hands-on role, managing client engagement, pre-construction, and delivery using directly employed teams across a wide geographical area. The position offers strong prospects for repeat work, framework expansion, and regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client and stakeholder management, including regular progress meetings
  • Programming, RAMS, and pre-construction planning
  • Resource planning and procurement of labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors
  • Management of permits and statutory approvals (S50/S80, FRAP, road space, etc.)
  • Oversight of site teams to ensure high standards of H&S, quality, and programme delivery
  • Commercial support including valuations, reporting, CVRs, and pricing input
  • Mentoring and development of project teams
