[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are recruiting a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer on behalf of an expanding construction main contractor to deliver projects across Yorkshire. An award-winning regional main contractor who are undergoing successful year-on-year growth. They have had multiple regional framework wins in recent months and are attracting professional, like-minded people to the business on a regular basis from larger contractors. The company turnover is growing constantly through repeat business and new clients. They have a full order book for 2025 they are looking to grow the team further.
Projects cover a wide range of civil engineering & construction works delivered as main contractor including: large industrial units, retail builds, ports/marinas, substations, bulk groundworks, structures, deep drainage etc. Project values: up to £20m.
Duties as Site Engineer:
- Setting out - using various kit.
- Delivering as-builts and surveys.
- Handling QA & Quality Control duties on site.
- Use of AutoCAD to site level for work with drawing amendments.
- Management of sub-contractors & direct delivery teams.
- Organise permits and documentation for site.
Experience required:
- Candidates should have proven experience at Site Engineer level with a principal contractor on civil engineering & construction projects.
- Must be fully competent with working as main contractor and adept with documentation and site engineering processes.
- Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree).
- Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license.
- Ideally hold qualifications such as: SMSTS, Temporary Works etc.
Remuneration: A salary of up to £55,000 (dependant upon experience) plus: company vehicle or allowance, fuel card, annual leave, pension scheme, private healthcare and other benefits.
Opportunity is on offer to become chartered with MCIOB and ICE and various qualifications/certificates will be offered to enhance staff's career development.
