Role overview:

As the Bid Writer, you will play a key role in producing high-quality, dynamic, persuasive tender submissions that clearly articulate the company's value proposition, demonstrate compliance and showcase their experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collating and reviewing a broad range of information which could include case studies, technical information, social value material, tender programmes, construction methodologies to Bid/Tender submission documents.
  • Collaborate closely with Estimators, Design Managers, Contracts Managers and Quantity Surveyors to craft compelling content that helps win work in a competitive marketplace.
  • Write, edit and coordinate high-quality bid responses for PQQs, ITTs and RFPs.
  • Tailor responses to meet specific client requirements and scoring criteria.
  • Manage bid timelines to ensure submissions are completed on time.
  • Maintain and update the Technical Library of standard responses, case studies and other supporting information.
  • Play a key role in the ongoing improvement of the bid process and quality of content.

About you:

  • Proven track record of producing successful bids within the construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction terminology, delivery and procurement processes.
  • Exceptional eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Able to engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce high-quality bid submissions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Indesign to produce high-quality documents.
