We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to support a major data centre project on a 12-month Outside IR35 contract. The role will start in Oxford for the first 20 weeks, before relocating to Swindon for the remainder of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the commissioning process across all project phases
  • Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures
  • Coordinate commissioning activities with contractors, consultants, and OEMs
  • Lead testing, witnessing, integrated systems testing (IST), and system handover
  • Ensure MEP systems are commissioned in line with design, safety, and quality standards
  • Manage commissioning documentation and client approvals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on data centre or critical infrastructure projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems including power, cooling, UPS, generators, and BMS
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Willingness to work on-site in Oxford initially, then Swindon
  • Immediate or short-notice availability preferred
