The On-Site Recruitment Consultant is responsible for resourcing, screening, and managing candidates to meet the staffing needs of a busy warehouse operation. Working directly on site, the role supports daily workforce requirements while developing sales and client relationship skills to support account growth.

MUST DRIVE AS THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED ON SITE AND IN THE OFFICE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates for warehouse roles using job boards, social media, referrals, and local recruitment activity
  • Screen, interview, and register candidates in line with client and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate inductions, start dates, and shift allocations
  • Maintain candidate availability, attendance, and performance records
  • Manage day-to-day candidate issues including absence, performance, and conduct
  • Ensure all right-to-work, compliance, and onboarding documentation is completed accurately
  • Build and maintain a reliable pool of candidates to meet fluctuating demand

On-Site & Client Support

  • Act as the main recruitment contact on site for warehouse management
  • Respond quickly to last-minute staffing requests and volume requirements
  • Monitor fill rates and proactively address shortages
  • Support workforce planning and peak-period recruitment

Sales & Account Development (Training Provided)

  • Learn and support basic sales and business development activities
  • Build strong relationships with on-site stakeholders to identify additional recruitment needs
  • Support account growth through service delivery, candidate quality, and client satisfaction
  • Assist with upselling additional recruitment solutions where appropriate

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Previous experience resourcing candidates (agency or high-volume recruitment preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a positive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Willingness to learn sales and commercial aspects of recruitment
