Senior QESH Manager in Leeds

A Global fast-paced manufacturing company are looking for a Senior QESH Manager to join the team at their impressive site in the Greater London area, Enfield. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, adaptable and personable QESH Manager with a strong technical background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The key requirements of the Senior QESH Manager will be:

  • Education: Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience & Expertise: Proven experience in Quality and/or Safety leadership roles, ideally (but not necessarily) within FMCG or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and operating effectively within a matrixed organization.
  • Strong track record in Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) compliance, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and regulatory audit processes.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing regulatory frameworks and safety standards (e.g. PUWER, LOTO); formal qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH are highly advantageous.
  • Skilled in risk management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of statistical process control, customer complaint management, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, capable of engaging effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Experienced in balancing strategic priorities with tactical, day-to-day decision-making in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Recognized for leadership excellence, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a results-driven culture.
  • Ability to navigate complex challenges, align competing objectives, and drive consensus-based solutions.
  • Highly motivated and resilient, with drive, energy, and passion for delivering sustainable operational excellence.
