[Employer hidden] are collaborating with a leading name in the UK renewable energy industry on the growth of their project development team. This company has been a mainstay in the space for over a decade and has built up a highly successful team covering the full project lifecycle from inception to the operation of utility solar and battery storage projects.
This company has over 1.5GW worth of projects in active development and has recently added to this pipeline with multiple successful M&A transactions. Amidst all the changes in the grid situation this year, our client has a number of protected connection dates and, alongside their excellent funding, is a very stable option in the sector going forward.
They are currently looking to add a Land Manager to their development team who will be responsible for covering the key land transaction aspects of a project as well as managing crucial landowner relationships throughout the development process.
In this role, experience in the latter stages of the land transaction is needed, which would include elements of progressing projects through the land option and into the lease agreements, as well as elements involved in the construction phase where land access rights such as wayleaves and easements come into play. This company can develop projects in the traditional greenfield manner but also has a great track record in brownfield renewable energy development, so you would have scope for broadening your experience across the sector.
Crucially, being an IPP, this company has a demonstrable track record in delivering their projects into construction and operation, so you can rest assured you would see your projects come to fruition.
This role is an initial 12 month FTC with the idea being a permanent role on conclusion of this period. It would also be a remote position.
