I am working with a commercial property consultancy that provides structured, proactive property management across a varied portfolio. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a number of assets.

This is a part-time role, predominantly remote, with occasional in-person meetings in the Huntingdon area. As such, candidates will need to be based locally or within a commutable distance.

The role

You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of commercial properties, ensuring buildings are well maintained, compliant and operating efficiently. This will include regular liaison with tenants, suppliers and contractors, overseeing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring health and safety and statutory compliance requirements are met. You will also manage rent and service charge processes, maintain accurate records and support consistent cash flow.

Alongside the day-to-day management, there is scope for this role to grow over time. The business is in a steady phase of development, and, for the right person, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibility, help shape processes, and play a part in the longer-term growth of the property management function. This is not an immediate leadership role, but it would suit someone who enjoys being involved, has an interest in how a business develops, and would like the chance to progress as the portfolio and client base expand. This role would suit someone looking for a long-term position, with the opportunity to take on increased responsibility as the business grows.

About you

This role would suit an experienced Property Manager who is confident managing a portfolio independently and taking responsibility for day-to-day decision-making. You will be organised, reliable and comfortable working remotely, with the ability to attend occasional meetings locally when required. Strong communication skills and a professional, methodical approach are essential.

The offer

- Part-time role salary c£37k - £40k pro rata

- Predominantly remote working

- 20 hours per week

- Sensible, manageable workload

- Established systems and support in place

If you are an experienced Commercial Property Manager based near Huntingdon and are looking for a flexible role that offers autonomy and balance, this could be a strong opportunity.
