I am working with a commercial property consultancy that provides structured, proactive property management across a varied portfolio. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a number of assets.

This is a part-time role, predominantly remote, with occasional in-person meetings in the Huntingdon area. As such, candidates will need to be based locally or within a commutable distance.

The role

You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of commercial properties, ensuring buildings are well maintained, compliant and operating efficiently. This will include regular liaison with tenants, suppliers and contractors, overseeing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring health and safety and statutory compliance requirements are met. You will also manage rent and service charge processes, maintain accurate records and support consistent cash flow.

Apart from the day-to-day management, there is scope for this role to grow over time. The business is in a steady phase of development, and, for the right person, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibility, help shape processes, and play a part in the longer-term growth of the property management function.
