What to expect from your Pre-registration Optomtrist Placement?

• Practical experience in a busy optical practice, collaborating with experienced optometrists and dispensing opticians.
• Hands-on patient care, refining your clinical skills in real consultations.
• Mentoring from knowledgeable optometrists to guide you through your placement journey.
• Exposure to a wide range of eye conditions and treatment pathways to enhance your clinical knowledge.
• Access to modern technology and techniques that gives you an experience of innovative optical equipment and industry best practices.
• Opportunity to progress on to our newly qualified support programme once you have completed your degree.
