Role

• Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operating procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality

Responsibilities

• Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity

• Represent the company in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute

• Promote and display the Volumetric core values

• Hanging doors
• Fitting bath panels
• Fitting shower screens
• Fitting skirting, architrave, door stops
• Fitting shelves & mirrors
• Ensuring PODS are to the correct tolerances meeting quality standards and specifications.
• Ability to use a wide range of power tools
• Ability to measure and accurately cut materials
• Strong manual dexterity
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities.

Skills/Abilities

• Carpentry qualifications desirable but not essential

• Ability to read and interpret drawings

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience

• Knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies

• Physically capable to handle and move various materials

• Good level of numeracy and literacy

• Working knowledge of health and safety practises
