FULL DESCRIPTION
Volunteer Retail Driver/Driver’s Buddy
Area: Warehouse
Reporting To: Warehouse Manager
Role Aim/Purpose:
To support our retail department in the delivery and collection of stock/donations to assist in income generation to support our patients and their families.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meet with the Warehouse Manager at the beginning of each shift to plan collection/drop off schedule
- Carry out vehicle check to ensure vehicle is well maintained
- Deliver and uplift goods to/from Hospice shops
- Uplift items from homes and businesses throughout Lanarkshire
- Complete logs and promote/collect Gift Aid applications
Key Skills Required:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organisational skills
- Geographical knowledge of Lanarkshire area
- Full, clean driving license
