The role is full-time, permanent, involving supporting vets, monitoring anaesthetics, administering medications, providing patient care, running lab tests, and offering advice to pet owners. At St Kitts Veterinary Group, we are a friendly, experienced team with four practices across Hampshire. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, compassionate veterinary care with a personal touch.

We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Basingstoke. This is a full-time, permanent role:

  • 40 hours per week, with shifts between 8am and 7pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays and 1 in 8 Sundays

Our 3400 sq ft clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including CT scanner, digital X-rays, dental suite (plus dental X-rays), 2 operating theatres and separate cat and dog wards. You’ll see everything from routine consults to orthopaedics, ophthalmology, exotics and reptiles.

Located in beautiful North Hampshire – less than 1 hour from the coast – we have good transport links with access to London via train and easy routes to Gatwick and Heathrow airport.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting vets in consults, procedures and surgeries
  • Monitoring anaesthetics and patient vitals
  • Administering medications, vaccinations and treatments
  • Providing in-patient care and assisting in recovery
  • Running lab tests and handling samples
  • Keeping records up to date and compliant
  • Offering advice and education to pet owners
  • Helping maintain a clean, organised clinical environment
