FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking freelance seasonal tour guides to lead tours in multiple languages, sharing stories about gin and whisky. The role involves guiding groups, sharing the history of the distillery, and providing tastings. The position offers flexible work during the peak tourist season.

Freelance Seasonal Tour Guides

Do you love gin? Scotch Whisky? Sharing stories? If so, we’d love to hear from you. [Employer hidden] is on the hunt for freelance seasonal tour guides to join us for the busy months ahead. We’re looking for people who can guide our tours in Spanish, French, German, or Italian.

What’s the Job?

You’ll be the face of our tours, leading groups through the story of [Employer hidden]. Whether it’s diving into the history of Pickering’s Gin or giving a behind-the-scenes look at our small-batch distillation process, you’ll bring the experience to life for our guests.

Our tours are about sharing stories - the quirky history of our gin, the craftsmanship behind every bottle, and, of course, a few well-timed tastings along the way. We also offer whisky tours, so if you’ve got a passion for both gin and whisky, all the better!

There will also be the opportunity to run private tours booked through DMCs and TOs.

Who We’re Looking For

If you:

  • Speak one or more of the following languages fluently: Spanish, French, German, or Italian.
  • Have a love of storytelling and an interest in gin, whisky, or both.
  • Can bring enthusiasm, charm, and knowledge to every tour...

Then this could be the perfect freelance gig for you.

Why Work With Us?

At [Employer hidden], we do things a little differently. We’re independent, inventive, a little quirky - and we’re proud of that. Here’s what you’ll get:

  • A chance to work flexibly during the peak tourist season.
  • Competitive pay and the opportunity to meet visitors from all over the world.
  • An inviting, friendly atmosphere where you’ll be part of the Summerhall team.

How to Apply

If you’re ready to join us as a tour guide, send us your CV and a brief cover letter (letting us know which language you speak and why you’d be a great fit) to [contact hidden]. We look forward to hearing from you!
