Damp and Mould Surveyor

Job Description:

Are you passionate about ensuring safe, high-quality housing? We are seeking a Damp & Mould Surveyor to lead efforts in identifying, assessing, and addressing damp and mould issues across the housing portfolio. This critical role ensures that homes remain safe, compliant, and well-maintained for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee the identification, assessment, and resolution of damp and mould issues within LBWF properties.
• Contractor & Consultant Oversight: Ensure that contractors, consultants, and partner agencies deliver high-quality work in line with compliance standards, schedules, and budgets.
• Compliance & Safety: Work closely with Building Safety and Compliance teams to ensure homes meet regulatory requirements.
• Data & Record Management: Maintain detailed records, update asset management databases, and provide reports on project progress.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal teams, external partners, and residents to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.

Skills and experience needed

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with:

• Strong knowledge of damp and mould assessment and remediation.
• Proven ability to manage contractors and consultants, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work within budgets and timelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

This role is to start at the end of July / early August on a initial 6 month contract.

£385.85 per day on a umbrella company basis.
