Network and Telephony Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Network and Telephony Engineer on a 3 month initial contract working 4 days per week for a Local Authority.
Your main role will be to:
- Management of the network infrastructure and resources (including any bought-in services) required to plan for, develop, deliver and support Digital services and products
- Be responsible for network specification and design.
- Produce network design policies, philosophies and criteria covering connectivity, capacity, interfacing, security, resilience, recovery, access and remote access. Create and maintain overall network plans to plan all aspects of the infrastructure necessary to ensure provision of voice and data network services to meet business needs.
- Support the evaluation and migration from PSTN to VoIP networking, ensuring all assets are mapped and transitioned in line with industry standards.
The ideal candidate will need to be a strong Network Engineer with both strong data and voice experience across a range of vendors and products.
The role will be hybrid based with the office being in Lewisham.
Day Rate £480 per day via a umbrella company
