Solar Project Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Solar Project Manager on a permanent basis for a expanding UK business.

Your main role will be to oversee and manage the permitting, contracting, engineering, procuring, constructing, commissioning, and operating of solar PV plants up to PAC, across the UK.

You will build relationships with key stakeholders including landowners, associations, government officers, DNOs, ICPs, EPC contractors, O&M service providers, advisers and others.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility scale solar (20-100 MWp) including high voltage electrical infrastructure up to 132 kV Substations and HV OHL/underground lines
• Msc or Bsc in Engineering, Construction management, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management
• UK experience required working for EPC Contractor and/or Asset Owner/IPP.
• Direct Experience/knowledge of EPC, ICP, DNO contracts
• Good knowledge of Planning and Grid requirements/regulations
• Strong understanding of Design, Procurement, Construction aspects of solar farm
• Able to manage, control and deliver against multiple projects

This role will be hybrid based working from home and 2 days per week onsite or in the office.

As well as fantastic benefits package we are offering a salary of £75,000 – £95,000 depending on experience plus bonus of up to 15% of salary per year.
