Mechanical Test Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Test Engineer for a busy Engineering Manufacturing company based in Sandiacre.

Your main role will be finishing and testing sub-assemblies and completed products, to relevant test methods in accordance with ISO9001 focused mainly on mechanical disciplines.

The work is varied, and you will have an excellent eye for detail, a solid base understanding of mechanical principles, interpretation of engineering drawings/data, and a positive attitude towards an ever-changing work schedule.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous test experience in a relevant mechanical/inspection background (Quality Assurance / QA Engineer / Test Engineer)
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagnose faults
• Minimum of HNC in Mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Fitting, assembly, or prototype build experience

This role is working 37 hours per week normal days Monday to Friday with a early finish on a Friday.

The role is offering a salary of £32,760 plus benefits including bonus as well as the usual pension, generous holidays and free parking, etc.
