Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Schools Accounts Payable Finance Officer on a permanent basis.
Salary: £34,416 – £36,522
Your role will be to:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to schools and internal staff regarding school payments and finance-related queries.
- Calculating and updating monthly payments to schools
- Completing financial reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies.
- Reviewing and following up on monthly and quarterly school finance returns.
- Liaising with staff and schools to address queries.
- Proactively seeking opportunities to improve processes
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Finance or accounting experience in a school or education provider environment or other public sector business
- Accounts payable or finance payment experience
- Expert MS Excel skills
- Strong numeracy and attention to details skills
- Experience with other finance systems.
