Role: Intern Java Developer

Employment Type: Internship/Temporary

Working Hours: 36 Hours per week

Salary: Unpaid

Working Model: Onsite/Remote

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Java applications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to discuss, analyse, and prioritize tasks.
  • Participate in the design and code review process.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Document and maintain software functionality.
  • Code Testing: Participate in testing processes, including writing unit tests and debugging code, to ensure the application's functionality and reliability.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Engage in code reviews to maintain high code quality and learn from more experienced developers.
  • Documentation: Create and update technical documentation for software designs, development processes, and user guides.
  • Database Integration: Work with databases to implement, query, and manage data connected to Java applications.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computing and Technology, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Passion for education technology and a desire to contribute to the improvement of education.
