New opportunity for a building surveyor to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy, based out of their Wimborne or Sturminster Newton office. They undertake a broad range of work with various residential and commercial clients. The role is joining a small, supportive building surveying team and will offer the surveyor autonomy to manage their own workload.
Role & Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:
- Assist with project and professional surveying duties working with public and private sector clients - Design, write specifications, project management and contract administration on various projects - Insurance reinstatement cost assessments - Development monitoring - Residential pre-purchase surveys
Skills & Experience of the Graduate Building Surveyor:
- Degree in Building Surveying - AssocRICS or MRICS is preferred but not essential - Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Salary & Benefits:
- £35k – £50k starting salary (depending on experience) - 25 days starting holiday - Pension - APC mentoring and support can be provided as needed - Variety of professional and project work - Supportive but autonomous environment
