Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Our client are a highly regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy that have been working in the local market for a number of years providing surveying services to a range of clients. Due to growth they are now looking to employ a graduate quantity surveyor who they can help progress through their APC. They have an excellent track record of successfully supporting surveyors through to chartership.
Role & Responsibilities of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
- Advise on costs involved in building projects
- Evaluation of tenders
- Evaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposals
- Provide advice on implications of different construction methods, materials etc
- Prepare bills of quantities
- Preparation of final accounts
Skills & Experience of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying – ideally 2:1 and above
- Some industry experience is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Passion to start and progress through APC
Salary & Benefits:
