FULL DESCRIPTION

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager to join a thriving and forward-thinking construction consultancy in Winchester. Working alongside an experienced team, you’ll support the delivery of projects for high-profile clients across the commercial, education, residential, retail, and regeneration sectors. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who’s ambitious, eager to learn, and ready to take the next step within a professional and dynamic environment.

Role & Responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager:

- Support the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion - Assist in producing project documentation and progress reports - Help coordinate and manage multidisciplinary design teams - Attend and minute project meetings - Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and evaluations - Monitor and report on contractors’ performance on site

Skills & Experience of the Assistant Project Manager:

- Degree in a construction-related subject preferred (but not essential) - Previous project management experience within construction is beneficial - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Confident with Microsoft Office and ideally Microsoft Project - Experience in report writing and delivering presentations - A proactive, personable, and team-oriented approach - Willingness to work towards professional qualifications (RICS, CIOB, APM)
