FULL DESCRIPTION

A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving cost management team in Winchester, working for a leading built environment consultancy. The role offers a varied workload with responsibility for delivering high-quality cost consultancy services across major projects in the Defence, Health, and Residential sectors, typically ranging from £1m to £600m.

Role & Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

- Deliver full cost management services across all project stages - Lead on multiple or large-scale projects, managing client relationships and project teams - Produce feasibility studies, cost plans, tender documents, and post-contract cost control - Oversee procurement, tender reviews, and contract administration - Mentor and manage junior staff, supporting their technical development - Contribute to business planning and support the wider team in securing new work

Skills & Experience of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

- MRICS and degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline - Proven experience working on technically complex projects - Strong NEC4 contract knowledge - Excellent commercial acumen and client-facing skills - Able to manage and mentor junior team members effectively
