FULL DESCRIPTION
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Surveyor to join a well-established, independent firm based in Portsmouth. Known for their professional and personable approach, this is a fantastic chance to be part of a respected local team delivering high-quality surveys and valuations.
This role would suit a qualified surveyor looking for a sensible workload, supportive environment, and flexibility in their day-to-day.
Role & Responsibilities of the Residential Surveyor:
- Carry out Level 2 Homebuyer Reports
- Provide private valuation reports for a range of purposes including Help to Buy, shared ownership, probate, and tax
- Level 3 surveys optional depending on experience.
- Work autonomously across a defined local patch with admin support from the in-house team
- Liaise with clients and provide clear, well-presented survey advice
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and compliance
Skills & Experience of the Residential Surveyor:
- AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS qualified
- RICS Registered Valuer (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in producing Homebuyer reports
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Full UK driving licence and comfortable covering a local patch
