A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Building Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy supporting a diverse range of clients across the South of England. This is an exciting role for a highly motivated professional who thrives in a client-focused environment and is keen to develop their career within a growing and dynamic team.
Role & responsibilities of the Senior Building Surveyor:
As a Building Surveyor, you will be leading on a range of professional services, including:
- Defect Reports
- Contract Administration & Principal Designer Services
- Licence to Alter Services
- Planned Preventative Maintenance Programmes
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments
- Specification & Tender Production
- Planning Applications
- A variety of other consultancy services
You will play a key role in providing expert advice to clients, managing projects from inception to completion, and ensuring the highest level of service delivery.
Skills & experience of the Senior Building Surveyor:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrate expertise in delivering core surveying services
- Possess strong client management and communication skills
- Be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
