RCA Building Surveyor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an RCA Building Surveyor to join a forward-thinking consultancy providing market-leading services across the UK property sector. This is a varied role, ideal for an experienced surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive and innovative environment.

The role will be home-based covering a patch across Hampshire & Sussex.

Role & Responsibilities of the RCA Building Surveyor:

  • Carry out Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs) in line with RICS guidance.
  • Provide technical expertise on complex buildings within the client portfolio.
  • Undertake and quality check RCA reports, including schedules and costings using BCIS data.
  • Share technical knowledge and provide CPD support within the surveying team.
  • Support the management of sub-teams within the RCA environment.
  • Build strong client relationships and assist in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Ensure strong communication with internal teams, including major works projects.

Skills & Experience of the RCA Building Surveyor:

  • MRICS qualified.
  • Proven experience in building surveying or cost assessment, ideally including RCAs.
  • Technical expertise across a range of property types.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and contractor management.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to support wider business growth.
