You are suitable for this role if you have proven records of being:

  • Responsible for sourcing and purchasing technical materials such as laptops, desktops, all types of tech accessories, security alarm systems, security camera systems, and government contract and government tender handling.
  • Providing services a business needs to operate effectively, ensuring adequate stock levels, and negotiating favorable terms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and selecting suppliers
  • Using contracting and tendering systems to approach potential corporate clients
  • Negotiating supplier and customer contracts
  • Negotiating for the best possible prices and quality
  • Order Management: Placing orders, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring timely receipt of goods or services
  • Inventory Management: Keeping track of stock levels, managing inventory, and ensuring adequate supplies to meet business needs
  • Compliance: Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations
  • Cost Reduction: Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures in the procurement process
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost reduction

You must have the following skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to procurement
  • Industry knowledge of technical products and security systems (added advantage)
  • Good understanding of the UK tech market and IT infrastructure (added advantage)
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools (added advantage)

Required qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma-level qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Management, or Information Technology is a must
