DevOps Engineer

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-growing startup. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support our development and deployment workflows. This role will be essential in optimising our CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and enabling seamless development-to-production flow.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
  • Work with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure to manage cloud infrastructure
  • Set up robust monitoring and logging systems to ensure application uptime and performance
  • Collaborate with developers to streamline Git-based workflows and environment setup
  • Automate infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or equivalent (if applicable)
  • Maintain best practices for version control, testing environments, and rollback procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Proficiency with Git, and experience supporting dev/test/stage environments
  • Basic understanding of application testing and deployment processes

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Security and compliance understanding for cloud-native environments
